Welcome to Falmouth

Falmouth seems like its own world removed from the rest of the Cape and it's well worth the travel! We often go spend the day there and I feel like I could easily live there! It has beautiful Nantucket Sound beaches easily accessible by car or better yet the Shining Seas Bike Trail. It's home to the renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (I would encourage you to spend some time on their website) and quaint town included! I also wouldn't miss the aquarium. Downtown Falmouth is a great day to spend the day shopping, dining or viewing the famous Christmas parade, information on the Chamber of Commerce site. Some of my favorite restaurants include Anejo Mexican Bistro (often open for outside dining in the off season, Osteria La Civetta with it's homemade pastas and wonderful wines, Flying Bridge Restaurant on the water focusing on fish.  The Coonamessett not only has a cozy bar and beautiful dining space but it's also a nice place to stay off the beaten path.

I would say someone would want to choose Falmouth to live year round if they want plenty to see and do and dine!
