The whole area north of 6A is beautiful (pretty homes and gardens along with the popular beaches on the bayside including Corporation, Cold Storage, Mayflower & Chapin). For dining on the north side you have Scargo Cafe, The Pheasant and the Marshside and the must do is Captain Frosty's for fish and chips and ice cream! Over on the Nantucket Sound side of Dennis it's fun to poke around in the shops especially Cuffy's and relax at West Dennis beach ending the day dining at Chapins, Ocean House, Oyster Company or the Pelham House on the water then grab an ice cream at the Sundae School! A favorite place to kayak on the Cape is the Swan River! There are grocery stores (Ring Brothers is a favorite by many), movie theatres, deli's and a number of Dunkin Donuts for convenience. Dennis is also home to, in my opinion, the best lobster roll on the Cape...this is on the lobster cruise out of Sesuit Harbor. There's access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail that runs all the way to Wellfleet with many great stops along the way and a few nature walks around town. There are nice shops along 6A and one must climb the Scargo Tower and enjoy the views of Cape Cod Bay!
