Bourne Bridge and Biking/Walking trail

Bourne encompasses several villages on both sides of the bridge including Buzzards Bay, home to Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Sagamore which has a beautiful beach on the ocean. There's a wonderful park, Buzzards Bay Park, to spend the day near the railroad bridge right on the canal for easy access for biking or a stroll on the bike trail. You can bike for approximately 7 miles all the way to Sagamore without having to stop for lights or roads, one of my favorites! The 3 most popular restaurants in Bourne are the Stomping Grounds Grille, the Lobster Trap and Mezza-Luna. Otis Air Force Base takes up about 22,000 acres of Bourne, Mashpee and Sandwich!
